Cyber bullying is defined as the use of the Internet and mobile technologies to harm people in any possible way. It can be done by using the Internet, cell phones or other devices to send text or images with the intention of causing hurt or embarrassment to another person".

The victims of cyber bullying could be anybody regardless of their age, gender, religion, country or relationship. Are you a victim where somebody have sent you an email, SMS, etc. that included threats, sexual remarks, hate speech, accusation, slander, etc.? If the answer is "Yes!", then you are definitely been cyber bullied.

Cyber bullies may disclose your personal data without your knowledge and permission. Or they may use your identity to post and spread harmful data to harm you. They may send emails that contain threatening and harassing texts, or send an SMS with similar content. Some post rumors or gossip and instigate others to dislike you and gang up on you. Whatever the methods used, their purpose is to intentionally embarrass, harass, intimidate, or make threats online to you.

Cyber bullying can occur via email, SMS, posts in social networking sites, blogs, and Web sites.
